Directors of BIMSTEC Energy Centre

The Centre shall consist of such specialized Wings as may be decided by the Governing Board, each to be headed by a Director appointed by Search Committee constituted by the Governing Board, for a period of five years. Some of the suggested specialized Wings are enumerated below:

(a) Data management, Research and Analysis
(b) Grid connectivity
(c) Energy Efficiency and Conservation
(d) Gas Pipeline
(e) Non-Conventional Energy
(f) Hydro Power
(g) Energy Security and Trade

To ensure participation of all Member countries, the posts of executives will be filled in a manner that no country is inadequately represented.
